I applaud President-Elect Trump for coming out against the Alt Right and the idea of hiring a special prosecutor.

His team absolutely knows that they were stroking the egos of too many extremists. Time to lay off the gas pedal.

BS

He wasn't the one carrying it. The media and the fruitcakes are the ones that can't leave it alone or behind.

Contrary to what many have believed, Trump isn't a stupid man. He has his faults and makes mistakes but stupidity when it comes to important matters isn't one of them IMO. The last thing he wants and needs when beginning his Presidency is a side show going on with Hillary and a special Prosecutor.
Hillary needs to be out of the picture completely and the alt-right will do nothing but drag Trump down and he has no love for extremism. BTW, enforcing existing immigration laws isn't extreme. That's why we have these laws on the books.

I agree. I don't mind the fact that Obama has far and away deported more people than ever before. I have an issue with the idea we will have all this money to spend on a new deportation force. I have an issue with cities being forced to spend money and resources doing the Feds job. Sanctuary cities allow victims of crimes to report them without fear of being deported. It is a basic human right. Guess what too? I have seen multiple stories of actual illegal criminals getting deported still the moment they step out of jail. They inform the Feds when it needs to be done.

Thinking Trump has abandoned the far right is a wishful fantasy.

Hillary Clinton is nothing but a distraction to him now, and he just eliminated the distraction. She has no powers now to damage him or help him, so she's nothing to him.

You don't get to be Leader Of The World by letting the small stuff get in your way. Trump has bigger plans now, and so does Steve Bannon.

Good, now hopefully I'll never hear the term "alt-right" ever again. Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Obama and Trump had a little call and Obama said something like "You are about to be busier than you've ever been. Don't make me pardon her retroactively."

And it was done. Prosecuting her makes no sense and just damages the nation further.

B.S. Trump is the one who pulled them out from under the bridge and dog-whistled them all the way through his campaign. The fact that he is now disowning them is simply that he no longer has a use for them. Unfortunately, his ramped-up hate has been unleashed.

What does hiring a special prosecutor have to do with the so-called "alt-right," which Donald Trump has never been a part of anyway (not that I even believe there is such a group - I think it's a made up term to try to divide conservatives).

Doubt it, but your free to speculate. But I agree with your final statement. It would be a waste of time and would consume too much energy when we have bigger things to take care of.
