How much was wasted the last 8 years on government pork barrel projects ?

What projects? What's passed? If it did, it would have taken a Republican congress to pass it. Oddly enough, now Republicans are trying to bring back ear marks, i.e. pork for their districts.

I've read the list and can see that it took a congress to pass, and remember Republicans run congress and the senators listed on there are represented by both parties. What does that have to do with President Obama?

If the Trump supporters are honest with themselves, they have to think about a few things:

1) Trump lied and lied repeatedly on the campaign trail........all of it directed right at his followers. They were the ones standing right in front of him while he made up whoppers designed to incite them and excite them. These lies are not something that we on the other side fabricated to make him look bad, they came out of his own mouth. He said whatever he needed to say to fit the occassion, and the next day he would say the complete opposite.

2) He is filling his cabinet with the EXACT type of person he promised to "drain" from Washington........only the very rich who are even causing his own advisors and supporters to have concerns.

3) Trump is NOT FOR THE LITTLE GUY, he is a rich, egotistical , ruthless businessman, who has never done anything for anyone else. All of his life he has run over the little guys to get ahead, like the small businesses he refused to pay for hard work they performed for him. His method of operation is to use people and then cast them aside when they are no longer needed.

His supporters can not be blamed for thinking this man was going to be their saviour. He is a master manipulator and knows exactly what words to use to win them over. He is a showman and a con artist of the first degree. That little "thank you tour" and the Carrier AC visit were just fluff. Yeah, he saved 1,000 jobs, but what about the other 1,300 and the things he had to give up to get that deal ?

I bet that even before he takes office some of his supporters will begin to see that they have been taken for a ride. Every day, more and more is coming out in the way he is staffing his cabinet and how those people think. But it is too late now, we have him and just have to see how it all pans out.

WHATEVER!!!^^^^ Sore loser is the only thing that comes to my mind.

Your party and candidate lost big time and none of your party members saw it coming as they all felt entitled and now they still are in the "throw the kitchen sink mode".

Nobody in the Hillary campaign is taking responsibility for their failing and supporting a candidate that wasn't trusted by the PEOPLE, and even though the media was in the tank for her the PEOPLE are sick and tired of that entitlement attitude and right now it is showing with a lost election for the left and TRUMP becoming the next PRESIDENT OF THE USA!

I think you make a very good point there. Hillary would not have been our first choice, but she was the horse we had to ride. But, compared to the glaring deficiencies and dishonesty of Trump, she was head and shoulders above him. Yes, she had baggage, but at least she knew her way around Washington. Trump is no more equipped to run this complicated country than anyone off the street. All he has going for him is that he did well in real estate........period.

Our point is that, when he finally gets in there, and sees how many balls he has in the air at any given time, he will be way in over his head and over his intelligence level. Foreign leaders will not be as easy to deal with as he thinks, and even getting his ideas through his own party will be difficult.
