Do you think the even pre-election bias against Michigan is just because of geography (as hinted at above), or do you think there are other factors (the RTW state brouhaha, etc.) ?

All candidates know the rules of the election before election day. They all campaign to win the EC not the popular vote.....Trump won the EC.

and Trump did it against the establishment of both parties, against the MSM , against 99% of all american newspapers who were in the tank for Hillary and against Wall Street and banks that favored Hillary,,,and Trump did it with a 4 to 1 campaign disadvantage to Hillary.

Trump beat all the odds.....and democrats can't take it.
This is so true!

If this were any other republican candidate I don't think you'd of seen any of this crying from the left. They just can't stand the fact that their candidate was so horrendous that she got beat by an outsider. One with 0 political experience, 0 help from his own party,0 help from the MSM and spent 3/4 LESS running his campaign! He had a target on his back from day 1 and still defeated every candidate in the primaries then defeated a career political hack who had everyone bought and paid for. This was such a slap in the face I lmfao every single day while reading their whiny posts. Funny how now it's everyone else's fault but the evil witch who ran her campaign into the ground with nothing to go on but insults. Better suck it up now libs and re-group or you'll never see the inside of the white house again!

I guess you're a collective people, where the harmony of the group or "whole" is of more importance than an individual's right to just have the same same voting power as everyone else.

I guess it is admirable in some aspects, as it seeks to help minority states, but it sure ain't for me.

And how do we know that Trump isn't crooked since he refuses to show his tax returns. We really don't. You think Hillary is crooked, Trump could be much worse. And you have no reply to that because none of us have any idea.

His tax returns would show if he was crooked or not. It's not like a line states "income earned from bribes" that we can check.

Trump did win in large part because of pictures like that. He went in to downtrodden areas and sold them a giant lie - elect me and I'll fix everything and it won't take any effort whatsoever on your part. No need to learn new skills. No need to adapt. Just put all your faith in the shiny orange God and it'll all be fine.

Of course he has no idea how to fix it.

Why yes, if you take away areas where Clinton did well (which isn't just southern CA), then she would've received fewer votes. Take away a few hundred thousand votes in rust belt states and Trump would've lost, too.

His base isn't actually that broad. It basically consists of the standard group of people who always vote R no matter what along with a few hundred thousand lazy white people in the rust belt who will fall for every con man or woman who comes along and promises them that they can have it all without any effort on their part.

Just think, in a few short weeks, Trump, a notorious con man, will be standing at his inauguration with Paula White, a woman who has swindled gullible, desperate people out of millions.

Why are you still trying to justify Trumps win? We all know the election was manipulated by Russia. You'll never convince me he won fair and square. We all heard Trump ask for Russia's help. These games are typical of dirty Republicans who have to win at any cost. Party over People for Republicans every time. Let's just hope common sense will prevail in his long 4 year term. I just also hope seniors don't have their benefits tampered with under these Republicans. We all know they tried to change it under Bush. Once they change it folks it won't come back.
