The Kool-Aid has been drunk. Obama or his campaign lied about the Canadian thing. He claims he and Rezko bought the properties on the same day without talking to each other. Very coincidental. Obama's supporters tell you, this isn't so bad. They may be right, but it's still a question to his integrity and honesty. He needs better answers than the ones I've read.

Yes, very good thanks. It tastes a lot better than dung-shake.

Well, I just heard this on the news -- and they are analyzing it as "Obama lied." And they also mentioned that this is serious since he promised to change Washington, have "transparency" in government, and all sorts of things -- and this goes against what he has been saying. This is "politics as usual."

Obama tangles with the press - First Read - msnbc.com
Obama claimed that when he had first denied the meeting between Austan Goolsbee and any members of the Canadian administration he provided "the information that [he] had at the time."

He added, "Nobody reached out to the Canadians to try to reassure them. They reached out, unbeknownst to the rest of us; They reached out to Mr. Goolsbee, who provided them with a tangible conversation and repeated what we've said on the campaign trail."

I think I'm ready to solidify my vote for Obama.
And you can bet that thousands of voters have seen this latest stunt for what it is, and have concluded the same thing.

LOL. He faults Hillary for her vote on Iraq based on the information she had at the time and here he is claiming the same thing. Every thing you people have ever said about Hillary's support for the war has been nullified. Obama does the same thing as Hillary and his supporters let him walk.

Obama on the Hot Seat - The Caucus - Politics - New York Times Blog

"It turns out that a Canadian official invited a top economics adviser to the campaign, Austan Goolsbee, to meet at the Canadian consulate in Chicago. The two men talked informally about trade policy. The Canadian official later wrote a memo summarizing this meeting in which — according to CTV News, a Canadian network — it was claimed that Goolsbee said the Senator’s rhetoric was more about political positioning.

"Mr. Goolsbee has disputed this account. And Mr. Obama initially denied the meeting took place."

???? So Obama has a rogue advisor?
