America needs a charismatic intelligent moderate untainted by too many years of involvement with mainstream federal politics.

Where is he or she?

We already have a man who fits that description in the Oval office right now. Liberals are probably gonna laugh at that statement, but its true. You may think you want Macron but this country doesn't. I don't mean just the American people don't want him, but also the country's founding itself. Macron will be a total disaster for France. And just because he is billed as a moderate by the media and in France doesn't make him in reality a moderate, just as Le Pen wasn't really "far right" OR extreme in her policy.

Macron according to the media promoted a "hope filled" and "optimistic" vision of France. While Le Pen's plans were "dark". I heard so many misleading descriptors of those 2 candidates and they were always of that sentiment. What a bunch of rubbish. Unfortunate that words like that planted a seed in so many minds. Propaganda is a powerful thing.

Trump is not moderate. The GOP gave the Dems a home run derby pitch this election and they managed to strike out.

If the moron is going to demonstrate any sort of competence, now would be a very good time to start. Thus far he looks even more foolish than he did when he was putzing around in real estate. He still seems to think that after he runs everything into the ground he can take America through bankruptcy and wipe his slate as president clean. Not going to happen , Don

Not to worry.
Our Macron is out there somewhere. He's not Macron, he (or she) is an American, and when the time is right the appearance will come. Probably out of nowhere, as that seems to be the way it is in the 21st century.

"We will not cut the budgets, we will not cut the budgets..."

Besides making the Globalists feel good, let's see what kind of results France with their 10% unemployment compared to Trump's America's 4.4%.

yeah. We kinda got the flip side of Macron.
He's a total outsider like Trump, but everything else is like a negative is to a positive. Trump is dark where Macron is light. Americans preferred to go to the darker side this time. Emotions do play a huge part in an election, and propaganda is powerful in troubled times.

I think that's because of a lot of factors that are different in France than here in the U.S. maybe if there were more similarities, the United States would have elected a Macron if our own last year.
