Arizona Congressoman Martha McSally was taped during an address to the Arizona Banking Association that Trump is complicating her task with his "distractions".

Quote:
McSally complained that President Donald Trump and his tweets were creating troubling "distractions" and "it's basically being taken out on me. Any Republican member of Congress, you are going down with the ship. And we're going to hand the gavel to Pelosi in 2018, they only need 28 seats and the path to that gavel being handed over is through my seat. And right now, it doesn't matter that it's me, it doesn't matter what I've done. I have an 'R' next to my name and right now, this environment would have me not prevail."
Quote:
"The environment has changed and some of it changed on January 20," McSally told the crowd. "There's just an element out there that's just, like, so against the president. Like they just can't see straight. And all of a sudden on January 20, I'm like his twin sister to them. And I'm, like, responsible for everything he does, and tweets and says. And they want me to be spending my time as a pundit. 'I disagree with that. I agree with this.' I have a job in the legislature!"

I think if they get kicked to the curb, it will be in the primaries where those that do not support the POTUS, find themselves replaced.

Don't you remember how they said that Trump being the GOP nominee would see many GOP congress people losing their seats?

I am feeling very confident that Trump will help bring positive results in both 2018 and 2020 for the GOP.

"Martha McSally Is Not Endorsing Donald Trump, So You Can Stop Asking About It"

POSTED BY JIM NINTZEL ON MON, JUL 25, 2016 AT 5:00 PM The Range, Tucson, AZ

It's not Trump, Martha, it's you. If Arizonans keep sending John McCain back to DC, it's definitely you.

Sounds like McSally doesn't have the guts to back her party or the President who leads it. Another Republican that needs to grow a spine or be defeated.

Gee 1 little House representative, who I'd bet NOBODY outside of Arizona has ever hear of.

Oh, the horrors!

I was thinking what Quick Enough just said. I have never heard of her and I follow politics pretty closely. I wonder if we have a rep that really does not hold conservative views but ran as one, knowing it is easier to win in AZ as a Republican than a Democrat. Time will tell, but of course if the Republicans lose a few seats in 2018 you know everyone will blame Trump even though it is normally expected the party in office will lose seats in an off year election. .

She is a Republican so hence she supports her Party. I doubt you would get many republicans in Congress to refer to Trump as the leader of their Party. Or get re-elected because she is willing to call em as she sees em.

Having Hillary win would have been so much better for the GOP? Nah. They don't have to like him but they will be forever grateful despite what they say.

Excuse me!!!

The man is President for less then 6 months.

Thinking how he'll do for re-election is way to premature.
