Well, to be fair democrats only want someone they thought of and pre-selected based on back room deals. They rigged the primaries so Bernie Sanders could not win and they will certainly make sure Oprah can't get the nomination either
I agree with you there, the DNC did rig the primary. I am sure Bernie would have sent Trump to the cleaners.
Honestly, I think just about any sane politician would win against Trump at this point. You only need to do the bare minimum to win most people's vote in 2020.

2. Do not Tweet at all
3. Do not openly judge women on their looks
4. Do not call people names in debates
5. Speak in complete sentences
6. Do not tell blatant lies that can be easily detected/rebutted
7. Do not proclaim to be the best at everything
8. Do not insult world leaders and slam the phone on them
9. Do not spend hours a day watching cable news and live tweeting
10. Do not allow someone into the White House to write a book dissing you

Everyone knew Trump was a liar and fraud when he was elected. This will not be news to his supporters in 2020.
In 2020, he will be an incumbent bragging about giving everyone a tax cut with the backing of the Mercers, the Koch brothers, and corporations around the world.
So you think a family where one parent stays at home with the children should only have 1 vote?
The specifics would have to be ironed out (NOTE THIS IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, OBVIOUSLY), but in general only people/families that work (pay taxes) should be allowed to vote.
Why should incompetent, drug/alcohol-addicted, welfare recipients (be they white or yellow or purple) layabouts be allowed to vote if they don't even PAY TAXES??

No, I'm saying that the Democratic candidate only needs to meet the minimum qualifications to defeat Trump. We don't need some super inspirational person on par with JFK, Reagan or Obama. Voters will just want a return to normalcy.
