Wrong.

Oprah qualifies, however:

An elected POTUS must be a natural born citizen, not just a U.S. citizen.

An elected POTUS cannot be a naturalized U.S. citizen.

That was in a different time, before things actually got serious. And think about this: This could come back to haunt Oprah if ever she changes her mind and decides to run. It's possible that President Trump had provided a catch to possibly prevent her from running in the future, or perhaps, he was just being facetitious. I doubt he'd harbor such a prospect now with Mike Pence firmly established and doing well.

I apologize because I DID misunderstand your post and I tried to revise my reply but I wasn't quick enough. You wrote it clear but I missed a few comments in the reading.

No problem. I’ve done the same.

BTW, I did ask for links to that assertion in an earlier post. When I was provided with a blanket “she supported Obama”, I said she felt he may have been the best candidate.

Every single time she talks about helping people at the bottom, she injects race into it. The left does not want an SJW. Oprah has not talked about fixing our broken political system nor the environment. Oprah is constantly shilling products and defending corporate owned media. She has yet to prove herself as a progressive to those of us on the left.

Oprah's name recognition might balance out her lack of experience in an election.

Whether she would be a decent POTUS is anybody's guess. Surely, no one believes she will behave like Trump. But who knows from there.

Merely idle chit chat at this point.
