I doubt really matters who they run as they have no party leadership. They have become the "Free For All" Party.

Glad you want to keep her. Grew up poor? She wants to help them? Is she sharing her $15 million network or her $174,000 salary? Fun Fact: Elizabeth Warren has a $15 million net worth on a $174,000 senator’s salary. – InvestmentWatch

Elizabeth Warren did grow up poor and she has invested in a lot of real estate. It is amazing watching Republicans defend Trump for incredible shenanigans over the years because now he has money, but attack anyone else.

And the anti-working White party too.

The question was, "Is Elizabeth Warren putting money where her mouth is when it comes to the poor?" The thread isn't about Trump, please see the title at the top of the thread.

No one mentioned that she was a crook: Elizabeth Warren obtained federal fee waivers despite high 6-figure income and 8-figure net worth No wonder she defended old Hillary!

OK, I answered my own question, she wants others to help the poor, not herself, sorry that isn't impressive: https://townhall.com/columnists/jeff...y-show-n989405 The old "I got mine............." which is fine except except when you expect others to do what you aren't to help the poor. Charity, not milking the taxpayers.

I don't expect any Trump supporter to be anything but attacking of Elizabeth Warren or any other Democratic candidate.

There's no way Warren will run for the job.

She's too old for starters, but more importantly, she's deeply involved now in rebuilding state and local parties in the red states of the nation.

She and Bernie Sanders are always the first to go help a Democrat who's in charge of a local party to come, speak, and help out, and it's a role she both relishes and sees as the most important for here, whether in or out of the Senate.

She will be running for re-election in 2018 for her Senate seat, and if she loses, she's already made some early plans to become a full-time party organizer.

Go Lizzie
Don't expect to see any familiar faces running in 2020 on the Democratic ticket.

Right now, the party is much more intent on rebuilding in all 50 states, intent on winning more local, county, and state elections, than it is in winning the White House in 2020.

For sure, whoever the nominee is will be supported fully, but the fact that the Democratic party became too focused on winning the Presidency, while neglected its base, was a hard fact that has slapped everyone in it a hard one right to the chops.

Firing all the old guard in the DNC was only the first step to a massive overhaul, and if the White House is lost in 2020 to the GOP, it will happen without a lot of tears being shed. It will most likely be seen as a necessary sacrifice in the overhaul.

Trump pointed out during the race that Warren used her 'native American heritage' to her advantage - which she acknowledged: Elizabeth Warren acknowledges telling Harvard, Penn of Native American status - The Boston Globe. Maybe you thought it was insulting that Trump called her: Pocahontas? But the fact remains that she was hired and there was pressure on the universities to 'diversify'. Of course she is not the first person to lie about her background to get hired.

The kicker is that I am sure there were minorities that did want that same job. For whatever reason Warren went to the front of the line; possibly because of her lie. So, while you are beating her war drums; keep in mind that she isn't perfect!

I don't think Elizabeth Warren did anything wrong here. To say that disqualifies her as a presidential candidate but all the things Trump has done are perfectly acceptable is laughable. Trump gets away with plenty, calling her Pocahontas along with all the names he called others including Fiorina with his "look at that face!". I don't think Elizabeth Warren should run in 2020 because I don't think any woman can win the US presidency at this time. We need to try a couple of generations from now.
