But that is an opinion.

How about I help you out.

there was another poll done that showed 12 Democrats being polled on name recognition, only Biden, Warren and Sanders got about 70% name recognition.

You could argue that this a problem for Democrats, especially for the people who were below 10% who may run.

You could have argued that, fundraising for left leaning PACs are up, but DCCC and DSCC fundraising is down, meaning that the money can not be spread out so that Democrats can affectingly win house and senate seats, or even defend the ones they have.

You could have argued that the party still have not found an effective message against Trump.

I, as a Democrat, should not be making a better case against my party than you. Lets all do some research, have a real discussion about not just the candidates, but the issues that face us as well.

Everyone here deserves a better discussion than " Dems/GOP's are crap".

I think there is a good change the 2020 winner will be Republican, but it won't be Trump.

Dunno. It depends on who the Democrats choose. There are some Republicans I would vote for over some Democrat choices.

As a life long democrat, I cannot think of one democratic politician that I would currently support. They are all either too old, too focused on special interests, or lacking in the essential talent of being an effective communicator. I have never been so frustrated with the party.

im always curious when i read these post and want to know who these republicans are.

I think in a hypothetical matchup between say Rob Portman and Bernie Sanders, I might choose Portman, but thats about it.

it would take a genuinely centrist Republican for me to consider them over a Democrat, even as far left as Sanders
