This was what scared me about Trump running. Using celebrity to justify a candidacy. It's not good. When will a Kardashian be president? What about Kanye? Maybe Taylor Swift will give it a go?
Could they do any worse than what we have seen the last couple decades?

Kid Rock is pretty much a character created and played by Bob Ritchie, the son of a rather wealthy man who owns car dealerships in Michigan. Bob Ritchie originally tried to make it as a rap star before settling on his Kid Rock persona.

I'd say no...but then a reality TV star and failed casino owner is now president...so who knows?

MN has Stewart Little, former comedian, then there is self made comedians maxine waters, william 'guam will flip over' jefferson. Lest we forget that great KKK luminary and beloved dem senator Byrd.

Only requirement for dem legislators is to pass the red faced test when telling lies and embellishing issues to the point of fear mongering...

Good! I hope more and more non-politicians run for offices, we don't need all this bull from happening with the career politicians. I'm all for him winning. He has my vote any time I can vote for him, but I'm not in Michigan so I cant vote for him as senator. but if he were running for something, he'd get my vote.

Michelle O is a celebrity? Graduate of Princeton (BA) and then Harvard Law (JD)? Worked in a law firm, then Associate Dean of Student Services at University of Chicago? That's a celebrity? Yep, sounds just like Kid Rock, what was I thinking?

She had a great education and work life, but take out her celebrity status as FLOTUS and she is no different than probably 100s of thousands of other Americans, and none of her work experience really sets her up to be a legitimate candidate for POTUS. So yeah what makes her stand out is that she was in the public spotlight due to being married to the POTUS, the other 100s of thousands of Americans that have similar educational and work experiences to hers would never get even a fraction of a fractions notice if they ran for POTUS because they don't have celebrity status.

Who was it elected Jessie the Body? Oh yeah, democrats in Minnesota. The "reform party" certainly didn't win without a majority of democrats voting for them in that state.
