Having said that, I doubt Trump will run a second term. He's accomplished exactly what he set out to accomplish. And yes, I believe Pence will run should Trump choose not to.
At this point in time, either Trump or Pence would win a landslide victory. It would behoove empty headed democrats to mount a huge search effort for someone to defeat them instead of pissing and moaning on forums about will he/won't he. If that's the strategy, well...no wonder Ugly Cankles lost so badly.
Trump has accomplished much in that he has made it known just how ridiculously corrupt and out of touch DC is with the rest of America. He has also exposed the much of the media as the biased Lefty agenda propaganda machines they are.
Who knows if Trump will seek a second term. It has to wearing on him to be the center of so much hate and non stop attacks. He has to be shaking his head that so many in America have no problem embracing people who are breaking our immigration laws when it is just common sense that they are not a positive in our society.
If Trump does not want a second term I think Pence would step up and run. Why not? but right now he has a job to do as VP.
Pence is not going to run, unless (maybe) Trump decides not to... which would be fantastic.
There's talk that the GOP will run a candidate against Trump, and while I think that's unlikely, there's a least a line of logic we could follow that would make that understandable.
Imagine how bad it would look to be Pence in that scenario. He'd look like a political, self interested hack, and while he very well may be, no politician wants to be that transparent about it.
and why shouldn't he be? He is the VP, never considered running for Pres and the first term is barely underway. It would be an insult to his boss if he took any of this talk seriously. Those suggesting he is a possible candidate at this time should be ashamed of themselves. Why would anyone even be talking about 2020 unless they have nothing better to do? We are even underway for the 2018 mid terms yet.
This is the exact type of propaganda the CIA should be sending to north Korea!!!
Float a rumor that Kim's trusted circle wants to replace him. Kim would probably have them executed.
The NYTs thinks the same results will occur if Trump believes pence is undermining him.
The NYTs is providing a disneyesque reality ride to allow the US to experience an actual third world propaganda attack by a government 'owned' major publication source that has coopted the previous respected reputation of the NYTs.
so ABC bought into the NYT article filled with lies about pence running a secret campaign for 2020. and you have also bought into the lie.
reality, pence is helping to set up trump for a second term, and starting it now just makes proper sense. if trump does decide, or is forced not to run in 2020, then pence is set up to run himself.
