It was a good year in 2012 and 2016 for the GOP as well... 2018 looks like ANOTHER great year... 2020 is in the bag... four straight elections where the GOP is dominating... a fifth one IS coming... a sixth one looks like real good.... Democrats, how does 1922 feel? I know, Democrats still think they are winning...

IDK, Colin Kaepernick would make a great team leader representing all the things Dems hold near and dear.

It's not only the Democrat candidates, it is the Democrat platform which is so far left that they are out of touch with almost everyone except for those that reside in big cities, or surrounding metro areas. These people are brainwashed, and believe in the NYC, L.A. centric media. People are also growing tired of the Identity Politics, and overly PC culture of the Democrats which is very anti American, and self loathing. People want to feel good about themselves, and their country. They don't want to be a nation of HELPLESS VICTIMS like the Democrats want. It is all about dependency, and control for the Democrats.

It still hasn't sunk in with them that voters are rejecting the Democrats' message. They think this is happening because certain people are racist/sexist. They still don't see themselves as the problem.

Great post. Spot on.

1st Transgender speaker at DNC didn't impress the Heartland much.

But if you honestly arent racist or homophobic/transphobic, then why would a person being Trans bother you ?

It doesn't end the wars. It doesn't help one make ends meet. It didn't assure people of being able to see a doctor when they get sick.

Like any fringe group, they merit no special treatment. I'd favor a 3rd bathroom for them personally.

As for political conventions, they should stick to mainstream American issues, the stuff the MAJORITY have a vested interest in.

LGBT, Confederate statues, Russia, sexism, open borders, etc doesn't put food on the table, pay the rent, nor keep anyone safe from terrorism, or illegal alien crime.
