He did NOT say he was interested in picking her. They specifically asked for a name and he said "no". They continued on about women who are qualified and he mentioned her in the abbreviated, edited video shown.
She would not back him, he was not going to pick Warren. Warren is damaged because she would not back him like Gabbard did.
I know Democrats that were calling Bernie a radical Communist, and this was without Trump laying a finger on him. I can imagine what conservatives or Republicans would have thought of Bernie after Trump got through with him.
"I know".......a worthless answer. Who cares what conservatives thought of him. "Conservatives" weren't going to vote for Bernie. No kidding.
I've covered this many times. Sanders would not have lost a single state Hillary won. Sanders beat Hillary in Michigan and Wisconsin and would have won those two.
That would have left Pennsylvania as the deciding state. Trump still would have won the rural areas because of coal. Hillary lost the big cities because they were left behind in the interest of helping Wall Street. The question is whether those who stayed home would have voted.
It's possible that Obama and Hillary so damaged the party over their love of Wall Street that they wouldn't have but Sanders would have campaigned hard there and wouldn't have taken them for granted.
He very well could have pulled it off and worse case. He wouldn't have been embarrassed like Hillary was.
Sanders lost to Hillary in Virginia by huge margins, and she barely won Virginia in the general, even with Kaine. Sanders also lost Nevada to Hilary, and that race was also close in the general.
No indication that Sanders would have won those two states. He probably would have picked up Wisconsin and Michigan but without PA, Nevada, and Virginia, there would be no path to 270. Maybe it would have been closer but not enough to get 270 electoral votes.
I like Sanders, but huge parts of the USA are not ready for a self described socialist.

Bernie consistently led Trump in polls by about 10 points. Hillary and Trump were about even. And Hillary was able to "win" the Democratic primary through
3)The DNC chair resigning in disgrace after it was discovered she was tipping the scales for Hillary and disregarding the will of the people, then immediately joining Hillary's campaign and brazenly admitting that she will "continue to work" for Hillary's campaign. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/25/u...ks-emails.html
BERNIE WOULD HAVE WON. Clinton brought us President Trump, perhaps purposely. Wake up, people!

Explain that logic to me.
Hillary went nuclear on Trump, throw everything she could at him and yet still couldn't beat him.
