If they are a socialist or a communist they have a chance.
Preferably they will hate the flag, military, law enforcement, border enforcement, working people or anyone with a blue collar job. If they are willing to funnel money to terrorist and hang out with dictators and support anti-American views and weaponized government departments against their political opponents they will have a good chance to be nominated. Criminals are encouraged to apply.
With the exception of the last two nominees, every single Democratic nominee has been a White male and none have been socialist or communist.
Any angry militant feminist non-white, lesbian, transgender or bi-sexual woman will do.

It shows the changes and the direction the party is moving. Dems have been on a crusade against white males. They want the first women president for bragging rights and to continue the crusade.
The idea isn't lost on the GOP either. IMO, Nikki Haley is being groomed for president also. She was elected as the youngest governor in the country and was the first female governor and first minority governor in South Carolina history. Currently United States Ambassador to the United Nations. She will step in to SOS when Rex Tillerson leaves. She would have the most qualified resume of any woman likely interested in being president and young enough to be considered. Even dems would vote for her.
The thread title including "personality", is that what the Democrats think lost them the election, personality? Granted that was one of the many issues that Hillary Clinton had, but it will take more than "personality" to win against President Trump.
The Democratic Party has NO one. When Hillary Clinton lost it was like a confetti shower with the Democratic Party. Pieces of scrap (or crap) everywhere, and no one has yet to make heads or tails of the pieces.
