Another day, another example of the usual liberal hypocrisy. They had no problem with the electoral college when they were predicting Shillary was going to win by a landslide.

Moore is probably right that Trump, or another Republican, will win in 2020. The left going bat **** crazy since November certainly hasn't convinced anyone to vote for them who didn't last time.

Get rid of the electoral college so someone you don't like won't win? Sounds sketchy to me. He should just wait it out, maybe Trump won't go for a second term.

Therefore, the States vote for the President individually as independent sovereign States.

Changing the way we elect the President would change our entire system of government from a Constitutional Republic to (basically) a Kingdom, with the largest populated areas determining who that "King" would be.

What's lacking in our country is a knowledge of American History, who we are and how and why the Founders and Framers of our Constitution created our Republican form of Government. Our Constitution was based on hundreds of years of English history. It was not developed over a few weeks by men huddled in a small room under candle light penning their thoughts. They knew their history. They were learned men who had studied the great philosophers; much smarter men than most of today's college 'professors,' who don't know squat!

Must be disappointing for the anti-Trumpers with their Fake News and impeachment fantasies...

I think the Democrats need someone who is kind and honest, but also firm when necessary.

Michael Moore had no problems with the electoral college when they all thought it was 'rigged' in Hillary's favor. Not one peep out of them then!

I would say forget about getting rid of the electoral college; get rid of Michael Moore! I think he has seen his glory days; isn't time for him to retire?

It would be tough for the Democrats to win by an even larger popular margin and still lose the electoral college.

Especially since California, Illinois and New York have negative domestic migration, especially regarding African-Americans.

I personally can't see how a Democrat wins in 2020. I think Trump will win by a larger margin

I think the word you're looking for is "republic". A national popular vote is certainly still a democracy.
