More importantly, I didn't say the present nut from NK were the best example. Rather pointing out how liberals have pushed a false narrative in an effort to rehab the reputations of despots like Castor/Chavez and their countries as if it was a model of Utopian paradise.
Needless to say most conservatives said their liberal supporters were nuts, and with hindsight, nothing could be more accutrate for your average American.

As to your typical Alinsky playbook, rest assured this country was more cohesive by accepting the norm, and shunning the exception/freaks.
But in the malcontent liberal world, up is down and all traditions need to be challenged. The American ideal was one of a melting pot, not a salad as the liberal freaks like to claim.
The majority of Americans have always bought into assimilation into American culture, not divisive isolation via promoting diversity.

But don't take my word for it, look up history via the Federalist Papers, and/or great speeches by presidents like Teddy Roosevelt about such matters.

The people who didn't fit "your ideal norm" for whatever reason were depressed/miserable, and we shouldn't make people do things they don't want to do. Everyone doesn't have to be some rigid conformist to be a good American. And there is a difference between accepting diversity and your "divisive isolation"😒

While we are all free to pursue or goals, we still live in a society that must have some rules/laws to function with civility. There can certainly be outsiders who do not fit into a conformist model, but they must also abide by the majority. The unique aspect of our country is that the minority cannot be overrun by mob rule or the tyranny of the majority.
Still the majority are the ones who craft the laws so long as they do not run afoul of our Constitution.

One could make a good case for America being more diverse in 1900 than today.
America in 1800 was DEFINITELY more diverse than today.

No, it’s not more competitive. It’s funny when Democrats say they are going to win something with such arrogance and then they end up losing and showing how childish they are.

No. This flew under the radar but CA had a huge child porn stint operations across the entire state that continued up to the election. They locked up a lot of pedophiles. I mean, A LOT. Hence, the low turnout for the Trump votes.

Are there Mormons in CA? Certainly a factor in Utah and maybe Arizona, not in CA.

I've been back in L.A. for a few weeks and yes, I've met educated white women who either voted for Trump and/or support POTUS.

The HRC vote is concentrated to the Bay Area and portions of L.A. The OC and SAN went Red, probably because of many who were traditional Republicans and Dems who simply couldn't vote for someone like Trump because it was against core principles

Actually, Hillary Clinton won both Orange and San Diego counties last November. Nice try though......

Trump didn't win any SoCal counties. (Hillary became the first Dem since FDR to win OC). The farthest south county Trump won was Kern.

Most of the Trump voters in L.A. post on the L.A. C-D board. And a lot of those (like myself) were very reluctant votes.

I meant to write Blue, distracted when I posted, but the fact you have to bud in quick and correct me really says a lot about how the DNC operatives do business. Some of you are nasty with your "talk down" nature. Thank you high school principal!
