Doesn't matter whether he was "there" or not, is a petty point. Common sense dictates that when you keep close company with someone for 20 years, you have similar beliefs and ideals, you KNOW the person. Obama repudiates this reverend's statements, but does not say WHY he stayed with him so long, that is the crux of the issue. WHY did he stay with someone who is a known racist and America hater???? This he did not address in his very eloquent and loquacious speech. So leaves him open still to a measure of suspicion and hypocrisy.

And I guess Obama is blind too, to spend 20 years in a church with a racist, hate-mongering pastor as his mentor!!!

The best thing he could do is quit that church completely.

You only hear words that compliment Hillary and smash Obama. Obama supporters could really care less about what you think of his speech today because we know it was an amazing speech and political analyst agree. So you can continue "dreaming" about Hillary's nomination, however, reality will lead Obama to victory.

No, Hillary is the one that will say and do anything to get nominated as she has proven time and time again. For Hillary supporters not to see this proves my point that they are blind.

I think that leaving his church would mean denying his base and not being true to his ideals, and where he sees himself as a black man. Even though it most likely means losing his chances this time around for the WH.
