This is obviously 100% untrue, given that Murphy's margin of victory in NJ was far greater than that of Hillary.

After 10 months of the Trump nightmare, people are more tuned into the country being destroyed, so they're motivated to get out and vote against Trump toadies. Same thing happened in VA, GA, and all across the country on Tuesday.

One thing became evident after Tuesday.
If a Trump-endorsed candidate loses, Trump will turn on him like a bad lasagna that was left out too long.

That's not something that will make a lot of candidates next year loyal to the man and his policies.

If they win, Trump will take all their credit away from them, and if they lose, Trump will chew their cracked bones.

But I guess it's one way of draining the swamp. It's not the way the Trump voters may have wanted, but that's the way it is with swamps. They don't just evaporate by magic, do they?

Please. Get real.
Gillespie adopted Trump's play book 100%. He went full Trump, and was all in.
Did you ever see any of his ads? Or listen to his speeches?

Nope. You didn't. But Trump did, and he thought Gillespie was great, the very, very best.

The voters want no more Trumps. Gillespie was too good an imitation Trump, and that was why the real Trump turned on him and peeled all the skin off the guy's back afterwards.

There's only room for one Donald in Donald's little world. That's why he has no coat-tails for any other Republican to hang onto. Gillespie had been better off to run all on his own, and avoid the playbook like poison.

And that's why other Republicans are gonna get whooped next year. Getting cozy with Trump is like curling up with a cobra. Running away from the cobra only means he'll strike you later.

Are you proud of your racist governor too? Are you proud to have him represent your state?
