Healthcare was the number one issue cited by voters. Maine voted to expand Medicaid which their Trump-ish governor vetoed five times.
This is the issue the Democrats need to run on.

People watched the GOP try all year to take healthcare away from millions of people. They watched as the GOP worked to gut the ACA with absolutely nothing to put in its place. They saw their callous disregard for all suffering they would be causing, because the only thing they cared about was a political win.
Did you think people weren't watching?
This is a bellwether issue. And the GOP made it so all by themselves.
Trump won by razor thin margins in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and to a lesser extent Florida. Won't happen again and he will be back in NY by 2020 and maybe sooner.
Most people other than his low info base know he is a Disaster.

Murphy outspent Kim 3-1 in a state with 900,000 more Dems than Republicans. His win wasn't exactly a miracle.
I still can't believe he ran on the platform he did (raising state taxes, property taxes & making NJ a sanctuary state) and people actually voted for the clown.
Christie should have legalized pot - then Murphy wouldn't have been able to squeeze that one in.
I hope they will like being taxed to death, being a sanctuary state for illegals and enjoy increased cost of living due to minimum wage raised to 15/hr. They voted for this.
