Just imagine if they had lost. They will blame their defeat on Russia and start rioting in the streets.

If you think those countries are superior than America, feel free to move there. A lot of Americans don't want to be like them or care enough to be like them.

You guys bragged and flaunted your wins constantly the past year. Dems are entitled to it now. Last night was a massive repudiation of Trump and the GOP destroying this country.
Big Deal. Virginia and New Jersey are blue states and conservatives/republicans wouldn't have a chance to win.

That was then. This is now. Try to keep up.
Hopefully the Dems/Libs find someone worthy to beat Trump in 2020 or else expect a second term of Trump.

I think there will be a lot of good republicans running against Trump and may just defeat him

Democrats are STILL in denial about why they lost last year and even unprecedented levels of attacks on President Trump from the lefties and their liberal media enablers have NOT changed the fact that the President's base still supports him.

Democrats have nothing to run on for 2018 or 2020, and that's not exactly a secret.

I don't think anybody is denying the president's base still supports him. But there's that issue of the ~60-70% who make up the non-base.

Uh-huh. Given Dems have never "rioted in the streets" and it's Republicans investigating the criminal Trump-Putin collusion, I would say you're a crazed Trump cultist.

I would gladly move there if I were able to. A lot of Americans are idiots, so them not liking them is not saying much.

Let's face it, the majority of Trump's base are white, non-college educated, blue collar workers who form their political views based on little more than bumper stickers, populist platitudes (which are mostly lies), right-wing echo chambers, and fear of change and cultural/ethnic diversity. Rather than the Second Coming of Reagan, Trump's base today is more reflective of the Know-Nothing party (Know-Nothing Party) We can only hope that history repeats itself and it ends in the same embarrassing way for them.

I hope this election is a sign that the adults are finally coming back into the room.
All right. So let's hear your insightful, non-bumper-sticker-based political ideas. You neglected to offer any here.

And no, Democrats winning big in upper-middle-class East Coast suburbs and urban areas that have large black populations is not indicative of anything.
