Majority of Independent voters went Republican this past election.......
I voted Republican once (in 2004), Democrat twice (2008, 2012). This election I voted Libertarian. Neither Clinton or Trump were any good to me.
I voted Republican in 2016, that was the only time I voted. No way I was voting Democrat. But as a white man, it wouldn't make sense for me to vote Democrat.

By your own argument, it wouldn't make sense for me as a Black man to vote Republican.
Personally, as an Independent, I vote for the most qualified person. It’s difficult for me to see why someone would vote for an unqualified candidate, especially someone with no relevant experience. Wanting someone to “blow up the system” sounds truly crazy to me.
