2008 Election:

White Voters: 55% R 43% D

2004 Election:

White Voters: 58% R 41% D

2000 Election:

White Voters: 55% R 42% D

So, in all of the elections from 2000, on, Majority of white voters have voted Republican. And, the majority are probably older than 34. So, I wouldn't say Bernie has a good shot.
You should also see that over those years that whites went from voting 99% for the two major parties to 5% being independent. Both parties lost a share of white people to third parties

I voted Republican once (in 2004), Democrat twice (2008, 2012). This election I voted Libertarian. Neither Clinton or Trump were any good to me.

I voted Republican in 2016, that was the only time I voted. No way I was voting Democrat. But as a white man, it wouldn't make sense for me to vote Democrat.

What difference does it make what race you are? I’m half White/half Asian, but I definitely know that Trump was not the right choice for this country. Your post was really sad to read!

By your own argument, it wouldn't make sense for me as a Black man to vote Republican.

Personally, as an Independent, I vote for the most qualified person. It’s difficult for me to see why someone would vote for an unqualified candidate, especially someone with no relevant experience. Wanting someone to “blow up the system” sounds truly crazy to me.

Why does that matter? I'm a white man, and I always vote Democrat, since I'm not a member of the plutocracy

It makes perfect sense. Liberals have been demonizing white working men for thirty plus years.

No, they haven’t. Where do you get this crazy stuff? A Trump rally is my guess.
