The Republicans had 66 seats before, to which they were elected just two years ago and now they have just 50, yet you dismiss it as “oh, it’s a blue state”? I don’t think the district lines have changed at all (someone can feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).

Blue state or not, these were Republican districts. Do you think it wouldn’t be a big victory for a Republican to win a seat in inner-city Atlanta or Houston just because they’re in red states?

The GOP has controlled the Virginia House of Delegates for 17 straight years.

No matter how you try to spin it, this is a big deal.

1 vote sounds awfully suspicious.... I would probably ask for another recount... a margin of error has got to be bigger than 1 vote...

The recount has been done and apparently there is nothing in the law that allows for another recount. Anyway, how many times should the vote be recounted? Where should the line be drawn?

It looks like it's going to come down to drawing a name out of a bowl.
