Mark your calendars for November 2020, because that is the only chance if the "not my president" crowd wants to remove Trump from the presidency. Hopefully the democrats don't screw up again, and they don't nominate Hillary again or a far left loon like Elizabeth Warren or Nancy Pelosi. They might win the traditional blue states along the coasts (CA, OR, WA, HI, NY, NJ) but lose the midwest and the south which might not get them 270 electoral votes, needed to win the election.
the dems will have to sanitize their ranks and play with all rookies when current investigations reveal their crimes.
Trump will have addressed the needs of the American people to a point where he will be tough to beat unless dems refocus from the coasts and social justice agenda.
Dems have to ignore Trump's words and focus on his actions. Trump palys the dems and in their tds hysteria strengthen Trump's negotiations with whoever he is dealing as they make that person or country believe Trump is capable of untold horrors to bolster trumps bluff and give him the superior negotiating position. Example is NATO. Nato is now stronger and a growing thorn in the side of Putin. Trump did that with words.
The hate and fear mongering the dems and their media partners are using to destroy him has to stop. The majority of voters do not want to make a covenant with such a hate filled group, devoid of ethics, act on prejudice and are adept at character assassination as the democrat leadership.
Making stupid statements that a twittering trump is a preoccupied trump with no time to address important issues, clarifies the blind hatred dems have for trump and strengthens the resolve of trump supporters to defend him.
Dems focus on trumps roaring and forget he is about to eat them alive. Trump is delivering. Dems denied instant gratification on promises stamp their feet and throw a tantrum. they attack trump in an all out war and then scream trump has not yet delivered. Bad Trump! Is that 2,500$$ you saved on Obama care burning a hole in your pocket? Hands callused from the shovel ready jobs Obama promised?
the dems and their media partners need to cure themselves before they go after trump in any meaningful way.
What exactly do the Democrats have to run on for 2020 as it relates to accomplishments after eight years of the most divisive President in the history of this country whose tenure in office was a disaster from start to finish, with his ultra-moronic fixation on Iran getting nukes being absolutely indefensible?
Iran has hated the US for years; why would we ever do anything for them? Only a socialist like Obama or Bernie can answer that.

I've seen articles about Republicans and Democrats banding together in 2018 to not allow anyone to run for Congress unless they agree to impeaching Trump. Is this possible?

Being just anti-trump will not be enough to win in 2020. Trump is already preparing a move to the middle after 2018 elections.
I voted for Johnson and was against Trump in the primaries, but I actually think he's doing well so far.
I think the only way Dems lose 2020 is if they run Hillary again or an equally bad candidate. Trump supporters are too confident. He only won by a razor thin margin in a few states. He won't be able to win again unless he can grow his base which isn't happening.
The problem is that as of right now the Dems don't have a better candidate, except Biden if he chooses to run , and he will be 78 at election time. If the Dems don't find someone better than the far left liberals being mentioned now in the next 2 years, they will be saying President Trump for another 4 yrs. Its time for them to find a moderate centrist Dem and start grooming him/her for 2020, complete with getting them in the public eye getting recognition.

Somebody will emerge. The Presidential field doesn't start to come into clearer focus until after Midterm elections.
2006: Obama wasn't a household name yet. Everybody thought Hillary was inevitable for 2008.
2014: Jeb Bush looked like the most likely candidate for 2016. The idea of Donald Trump was laughable at best.
No they will blame the ALIENS. Not the illegal aliens they've brought in to vote Democrat. Real aliens. You know Martians, and such.
