Interesting article about vulnerable Dem candidates in Trump territory - MO, FL, TN.
Others are mentioned in the Comments section.
The TN seat is currently held by Bob Corker, a Republican. So the issue is whether the Republicans will retain Corker's seat.
I understand the Republican on the hot seat may be Dean Heller of Nevada. From what I've read, through migration, Nevada has become a Democratic state.
Scott is popular but Nelson is popular too, trump and his government are very unpopular now in Florida, this damages the republican ambitions in the state and we can not forget that florida is receiving many new voters. All this people coming from puerto rico .. I would not have so much sure that the GOP will do well in the state
There are not a lot of PR's in FL, rather Cubans and those from Latin America.
As to Nelsons popularity, he was popular, but the last 8 years he has tied himself hook, line, and sinker to Obama/Reid/Pelosi.
When I heard him parrot what Pelosi said about "needing to pass Obamacare to see what is in it", I lost a lot of respect for him.
Then his inexplicable vote against Zika (FL is the epicenter of our country due to the aforementioned demographic) funding, all because some ideological ties to the abortion lobby. What is even harder to understand is that there were not enough to votes to get past the (D's) obstruction, with or without his vote. So he could have voted yes (in the best interest of his states citizens) and the bill still would not have passed.
Instead, he and others have somehow allowed their own intelligence and integrity to be usurped by the leftist kooks who run the Democrats this past decade.
Scott, while not an exciting candidate has done well as governor of FL, so he stands a good chance of unseating Nelson.

"Migration" or illegal & legal immigration of the Democrats target cradle to grave socialist types?
Naw, we know what their strategy will be now. Just get on NBC and call any of the republican candidates a rapist or child molester. It won't matter if it's true or not, the damage would have been done.
Out of curiosity, is Moore in jail yet, or since he lost the election, they got they wanted and they aren't going to waste anymore time trying to prosecute this supposedly child molester.

What ????? There were over 1 million Puerto Ricans living in Florida before Hurricane Maria and a additional 315,000 more have resettled here since then.
They are now the largest hispanic group in the state with Cubans numbering around a million.
Younger Cubans now outnumber the older ones and they voted for Obama twice in Miami-Dade county.
You also seem to forget that Florida is a retiree state and concerns about SS & Medicare cuts doesn't bode well for Scott who also wouldn't expand Medicaid under Obamacare leaving around 1 million Floridians without health insurance.
Wait until Trump launches his Medicare & SS reform campaign this year and we will see how popular Scott is hitching his wagon to that caboose.
Trump isn't touching Medicare and SS for current recipients. Dems always drag that one out of their tattered playbook, with Pelosi, running down the street in her nightgown screaming "You're all going to die!".

Give them an inch (future recipients) and they will want a mile (current recipients). Don't believe that? I gotta bridge I can sell you.
