I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

So many canaries in the coal mine for republicans. Last year’s senate election in Alabama, the blue wave in Virginia.. Let’s see what happens in the special election in Western PA next week. If that goes blue, watch out. Trump is fighting HARD for the republican in that race.

Now, I admit that the red state Dems listed in the OP are in a catch 22. Their home state base (i.e. Dem primary voters) is actually pretty leftist and rabidly anti-Trump, even though their states on the whole are fairly conservative. If they behave like adults and work with the President, they will never win their party's nomination. Still, I think that some of these senators actually believe that #resisting will be a game winner for them. Delusional they are.

Praying for a mass defeat in 2018 and for additional SCOTUS retirements and additional federal appellate court openings. Honestly, truth be told, even if President Trump was somehow defeated in 2020, so long as he is able to drastically reshape the Supreme Court and federal courts of appeal, I will be a happy man.

The only poll I care about is election day. However, for an NBC poll (CNBC is part of the huge Comcast/NBC corp) to say Dems will lose is really surprising.

We need 24, California has 14 and just adding New York Republicans to that total would do it.
Why would Californians be unhappy about Trump ending California's horrible practice of protecting illegal alien criminals who victimize LEGAL immigrant communities and other US citizens and release them back into society to victimize even more people?

We're talking murderers, rapists, child sex offenders, armed robbers, car jackers, gangbangers, drug dealers, etc.

Why protect them?

Who tried to torpedo it ? Who else - Republicans

Independent school districts hire and fire teachers, through collective bargaining. All make differing wages and benefit packages, depending what district they teach in.
The cost of living is going to be less in small rural WV, than Charleston.

Don't care what any polls say. Don't care if the polls say Ds are ahead. Don't care if polls say Rs are ahead.

Every. Single. Conservative. Needs. To. Vote. In. November.

Take nothing (ever) for granted.

Well, reasons like this:

Undocumented immigrants contribute $3 billion to CA, report says | The Sacramento Bee

And California is a big agriculture state. And while Trump supporters love to say these people are murderers, rapists, child sex offenders, armed robbers, car jackets, gangbangers and drug dealers, what people in California see and know are stories like this:

ICE To Deport Cancer-Surviving Mother Of Three Amid California Crackdown

And the more Trump supporters say these people are murderers, etc. when they know otherwise, the more they oppose Trump. In addition, California is already a state that contributes far more in federal dollars than it gets back. Trump's tax plan dramatically increases that imbalance and these Republican representatives voted for that. So yes, the 14 Republican representatives in California should be kicked out of office in November. They caused their own constituents harm.

^^^^^This. You may see other polls come out saying the Dems will lose, to spur the Democrat vote.

The dems were screaming Texas is purple, before Tuesday.
I have not heard a peep from them since...
It is looking good in my territory to patrol.

We may pick up another conservative on our city council. We only have one, elected last year.
