Is it arrogance that made her think she would get away with this one. There were cameras, her daughter, and Sinbad on the trip. She had to know someone would say something.

This isn't her first error in representing her record of experience. She talked about her role in the process in Northern Ireland, and the people involved onthe part of the parties in Northern Ireland have come out and said she did nothing. This didn't get the same attention though.

Actually, here are a couple press releases from 1999. Hillary actually was in a danger.

AFTER they left Sinbad and USO members, Hillary and her military escort flew via Black Hawk to the front lines.

CNN reported: At a second outpost, Camp Bedrock, Mrs. Clinton visited a M.A.S.H. unit, the only full-service U.S. Army hospital in Bosnia. The three-hour tour of the front lines of the international peacekeeping mission were filled with the gritty reality of a military operation, a far cry from traditional first lady photo opportunities, and Mrs. Clinton seemed more than comfortable with that. [CNN, 3/25/99

A day later, the Charleston Gazette 3/26/99 reported that, "Protected by sharpshooters, Hillary Rodham Clinton swooped into a military zone by Black Hawk helicopter Monday. This trip to Bosnia marks the first time since Roosevelt that a first lady has voyaged into a potential combat zone" (A person is not protected by sharpshooters unless trouble is expected. This is probably where her memory of the bullet proof vest and being told to duck and run comes from. )

Actually, Hillary WAS INVOLVED IN THE IRISH PEACE PROCESS. Tony Blair, First Minister of Ireland Ian Paisley, Nobel Prize Winner John Hume, Martin McGuinness of Sinn Fein ALL CONFIRM IT.

Why not? We've already had one as President. (The one in office from 1993-2001.)

Warmonger? You must be referring to the last president because he sent U.S. troops to more foreign countries than Bush has.

Now that she was caught in this Big Whopper, she's admitted it wasn't the truth. I think this one was too big for her to even try to say it was really a different time she dodged the bullets and was just mixed up in which trip it was.
