I didn't vote for him as a Governor nor will I vote for him as a Senator.
Hopefully Nelson defeats him handily and this will be the last time I ever have to hear from this fraudulent shyster !

last time he won narrow..very narrow victories in anti-Obama/anti-democrat years. By all accounts the shoe will most likely be on the other foot this year. should be interesting.

Can't count Scott out. I never in my wildest dreams thought he would get elected the first time. But that $78 million of his own money that he pumped into the election squeaked him by Bill McCollum in the primary and Alex Sink in the general. Then he pulled out his checkbook again in the race against Charlie Crist.

Never underestimate the power of the pocketbook. Anyone who can spend millions of their own $ can be hard to beat

you are 100% on point but as I states before he had more of the wind at his back, Obama had approval ratings in the mid-40's. He won squeakers in good years for the GOP. He also won an open seat (2010) and beat a former governor with an identity crisis in 2014 (Crist went from R to I to D) This year he will face a 3-term relatively popular incumbent in a year where its a republican president with approval ratings (at this moment in time) low 40's. I'm not counting him out but he's in for a 180 degree environment this time.

Let me guess, you never voted for any (R's) before, including Jeb.

I actually voted for Nelson once, when I thought he was his own man and principled. However when the Congress (all controlled by D's) was trying to push through Obamacare, I figured he could be depended on to insure it was not horrible.
Then one day I was driving down the road, and almost went off the road when I heard him parrot what Pelosi said, about "having to pass the bill to know what was in the bill". I couldn't believe my ears, but sure enough he said it.
There have since been votes on his part where he has put party line politics above the interests of the citizens of FL.

So it is time to retire him, as he has become part of the swamp. Out with the old, in with the new!

How he was never charged was simply amazing and in addition he walked away with a golden parachute from Colombia/HCA worth hundreds of millions of dollars that he used to finance his first campaign.

He spent $75 Million to be Governor of Florida and barely won the state with just over 1%!

He is a shyster just like Trump but you never know here in Florida.
