What does this mean? Looks like he is going to be the Libertarians' nominee for President. I will support him if he does run - he is miles better than Obama, Hillary, or McCain, both in views and EXPERIENCE!

Before I heard of Ron Paul, I liked Gravel. My only real problem with him is his desire to create a healthcare platform, again. He is very anti-war and would probably bring the troops home immediately without worrying for the consequences. I'm good with that given our financial state.

I like him, too. However, he is too strange to ever get elected POTUS.

We need a weirdo president in these times. Scare the Muhammed out of some people in the middle east.

I see Gravel garnering a lot of support on this forum.

I just don't see how his views can be harmonious with the LP. I realize they're not 100% in conflict, but I'm still baffled by this one.

He's got issues he wants to bring attention to. He met with Ron Paul a few weeks ago.

I'm with you twojciac, I see Gravel as a hard core far left true to the bone liberal, not as a libertarian.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at that momentous occasion.

I voted for Gravel in the primary, and I'll vote for him again in the general election if he runs as a Libertarian. I'd personally love to see Ron Paul run with him.
