Uh...

Trump attacked Obama - that whole birth certificate thing, just to name ONE thing
Trump attacked Hillary Clinton - lock her up
Trump attacked Bill Clinton - his affairs
Trump attacked Bernie Sanders
Trump attacked Ted Cruz
Trump attacked pretty much every other candidate - Republican and Democraft
Trump attacked George W. Bush on the Iraq War

I think Trump brought it to a new level and won. Pretty much the exact opposite of your statement. But do go on.

As much as I hate Trump, not much will change. We will still have this stalemate.

Probably will be the same in 2020 no matter what happens.

Unless some moderates from both sides get electected to work out all the things, out of control in our country and foreign policy.

Tax cuts could have been permanent for the middle class but they needed Democrats votes for a total of 60.

“There’s a simple solution. If our Democratic colleagues work with us to get 60 votes,” Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said during a Finance Committee markup hearing on Wednesday, “we could make it permanent.”

This was Trump and the republicans tax cuts. They run every branch. So why did they make sure that the tax cuts were permanent for the rich and not the middle class. It’s because republicans are all about making the rich richer. So don’t even try to blame this on Democrats.

really? its quite obvious that you have never read ANY of my posts about the budget and what needs to be done to bring it under control. you know things like consolidating departments, eliminating programs that dont work, putting things like welfare and education back under the control of the states, in other words lets stop wasting money on crap, and spend it on the things the constitution allows for.

If welfare and education were put back in control of the states, red states would have no welfare and would teach creationism in their public schools. No thanks

Of course not. But roll back this conversation to where our paths intersect:

Ok, so Trump was not a Republican? Not until Jan 20th 2017 when he took office? He wasn't influencing the Republican agenda prior to that date? News to me. Don't be deliberately obtuse. Citizens influence the Republican agenda all the time. Maybe not you or I, but the elite do.

Democrat campaigns saying they want equality for all are lies and misdirection. They do not want equal opportunity, but equal outcomes that only come by stealing from those who work for a living and giving to those who vote for a living.
