If Democrats win the House and Senate in November, what agenda would you like to see them pursue?

It doesn't matter as they won't. The only agenda they will pursue is "attack Trump". From the looks of things I will most likely have to vote third party again.

Fixing the health insurance mess. Reworking the tax bill to make permanent and increase cuts for working people while raising the taxes on the rich a bit to cover it (i.e. injecting a bit of fairness into it). Tying to come up with something to deal with staggering student loan debt that is choking the housing industry.

* Reengage internationally, to the maximum extent possible, as unfortunately such matters are overwhelmingly the prerogative of the Executive Branch.

* Similarly to the above, make maximal efforts towards free-trade: no tariffs, and reengage in international trade-agreements.

* Kill all efforts/funding at building "the wall".

* Path to citizenship for DACA immigrants. Some form of amnesty for "illegals" in general.

* Path towards national single-payer healthcare, modeled after the British NHS.

* Strengthen the Department of Education, to move control over public schools from local/state levels, to the federal level.

Notice that I said nothing about LGBTQ issues, abortion, guns or taxes.

Engaging under Obama meant new wars. Who do you suppose will change that?

TPP was a big loser in the 2016 election. You want to double down on that?

The conversation will end which will simply keep it an election issue, like guns and abortion.

Maybe. Obama promised it also.

The odds of a (D) candidate doing that are slim. The medical and pharmaceutical companies will have none of it.

Trying to take over education from the states is not going to go over at all. The teachers have made some real progress which would have never happened at the federal level.

A lot can happen in six months, but at this point it looks like they’re going to retake then House but not the Senate.

And if they allow Pelosi to run things again, write off 2020.
