so which is it - the economy is great, unemployment is incredibly low or illegal immigrants are stealing all the jobs? You can't have it both ways

How folk forget!

The economy was in the tank, from both Desert Storm and the '87 Stock market crash. The deficit was in full effect, and Daddy Bush needed to close it. Reagan already cut everything to the bone, so there was nothing else to cut! So, Daddy Bush had no choice to go back on his "read my lips" rhetoric, and raise taxes, to close the deficit!

The aftermath: Daddy Bush's party called him a sellout. Some abandoned him and went the Ross Perot route! Some even went to Clinton! And more aftermath: Bush becomes one of THE most pragmatic Presidents of all time. But since his party called him a turncoat, both he and his party ended up watching Clinton take full credit for closing the deficit and having a budget surplus....!

Even if Trump is not impeached he will not win. He won 2016 by a incredibly small margin. He was a unknown who promised big things yet has not delivered. A lot of people who voted for him could never imagine he would be forcefully removing children from their mothers at the border. They are repulsed by his actions. Yes, his base are rabid supporters, but normal Americans are dismayed everyday by his antics. So no, he will not be reelected in 2020.

Of course you can. The left wants open borders. Like the moaning on the liberal media today about the separation of the immigrant kids. When was the last time you went to bat for America? Instead of putting us down for who we don't want; why not give us credit for all of those we take? The reason unemployment is low is because President Trump is bringing jobs back to America and trying to hold the line on illegal immigration. When unemployment is low; wages go up (supply and demand). We still have the option of taking in more legal immigrants if we do not have the available labor. Of course we would do that after proper screening!

By our little poll (Who would you like to see win the 2020 US presidential election? 2018 Edition) nobody is close. You would not have a secrete candidate hidden in your closet?
