I think him getting busted is great news for Dems. He was basically trying to insert himself into politics to make a buck. And most of his efforts actually benefitted Rs. His attempt at nosing into the Kavanagh hearings was particularly embarrassing.
Michael Avenatti graduated first in his class at George Washington School of Law. The school established an award in his name. He has had a stellar career. There is a lot of info about him on Wikipedia. He has won some outstanding court cases.
I would prefer Gov. John Hickenlooper or Gov. Jay Inslee as President because of their extensive political and management experience. However, Avenatti would be able to give as good as he would get from Trump on the campaign trail and especially in the debates. He’s well-known now because of the Stormy case and name recognition helps. It helped Trump a lot. People perceived Trump as the tough businessman he portrayed on “The Apprentice,” when actually he was/is a con artist.
I sure hope the Dems don’t nominate Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren (women) or Joe Biden (too old). Dems need someone who can WIN!!

Oh, I'm pretty sure Avenatti is just a little tougher than you think he is. As an outsider, he's never been protected by any 'bubble', so I'm sure he needs no protection now.
But I am not at all sure he will even run a political race in his life. Avenatti obviously enjoys the rough and tumble of the courtroom over the boring life of a politician.
He's just doing this to get under Trump's skin. And yours too, apparently.
