Okay, the political season is heating up. Is Cruz well, cruising? Or does O'Rourke stand a chance? Right now the polls have Cruz ahead, but not drastically so.
O'Rourke seems to be closing the gap in the polls, but the opposition is starting to publicize more his citations 20 years ago. However, I also wonder what skeletons may emerge from Cruz' closet. So many politicians have such things in their past, both Repubs and Dems. I think if we are going to judge candidates by such things, we should first know the details and not jump to conclusions based on what want the answer to be.
The problem with Cruz is he's lazy and complacent. Dude wants Trump to rally for him FFS(way to go Ted, signaling to Dems that this seat can turn blue). Which is a big reason why polls--if you think they're legit--are close. But these same Texas polls are usually closer than what they actually are. The dem has reached or is close to the ceiling while the R is at the floor with time to rise up. He'll likely win but it won't be a huge blowout.
If the Dem was socially conservative and wasn't a fan of illegal immigration I'd think Cruz would be in serious trouble.

You do realize there are already 2 other threads about the Cruz race don't you?
