Newsvine - Letter to NY Times From Rev. Wright/Trinity UCC-

Quote:
Dear Jodi:
Thank you for engaging in one of the biggest misrepresentations of the truth I have ever seen in sixty-five years (link). You sat and shared with me for two hours. You told me you were doing a "Spiritual Biography" of Senator Barack Obama. For two hours, I shared with you how I thought he was the most principled individual in public service that I have ever met.

Well, who really knows the truth. I have frequent dealings with the 'press' and I can tell you that you're told one thing and something completely different is printed or reported.

i agree blazer. I have had that experience. We had a article written about my family in a national paper. When i read it i could not believe the difference in what we had told the reporters as to what was written. They love to put their own interpretation on the facts.

Good for Reverend Wright...What a great letter, and shame on you Jodi Cantor, but I'm not surprised.

I was interview on a tv news cast a few years ago, and by the time the tape was aired almost all of what I said was cut...What remained was twisted so badly it seemed I was taking an opposite viewpoint to what I actually said. Since then I have always refused....I don't call this tactic news.

Jerimiah Wright seems to have a "different perspective". It was widly reported in the media nationally that Obama did not even want Wright present because of the controversy he always creates. Obama would do well to distance himself from this agent of the devil posing as a Christian.
