I do not understand the tactic of giving out 70000 tickets when the place holds 18000. People will be lined up for hours prior. The traffic will be a mess due to hour of the day.

Who pays for this? Trump or Cruz campaign?

The police chief already said (in the Channel 2 piece just after 1030pm on Sunday) the obvious....that once that hit the 18k/the limit, no more people will be let in.

There is another thread that indicates Trump's campaign manager left for Houston earlier than planned to help organize a 'Tailgate' event.

Interviewed people waiting indicated that people were already waiting prior to 7am on Sunday (people brought tents, chairs, etc.)

70,000 is a lot of paid actors guess the budget couldn't cover this.

Blue wave in Texas?

Admittedly, it's a stretch. But it's not impossible.

We'll see in two weeks.

Anyways I don't think Texas will ever be a blue state.
I remember when nobody ever thought that Texas would ever be a Red State.
Democrats had absolute control over Texas after the Civil War for 130 years.

Trust me, things can change ... what the Leftists don’t understand about Texas could fill a Library.
That is why it’s unlikely to happen, IF it were to happen - they would discover the protections now built into the Texas Constitution.

Of course, after the Civil War 'Democrats' in Texas were decidedly 'conservative'. Texas has never been a 'liberal' state, although we have had some rather liberal office-holders (such as Ann Richards as Governor).

As I frequently have said, don't get hung up on party labels.

They were all paid. Actually Trump and The Republicans have no support at all.
If I were you I wouldn't even bother to vote.
