Perhaps it is just the neighborhoods you tend to go thru?
If anything I think yard signs, signs in general, are probably a bit more appealing to the Republicans than Democrats. Not sure why I think that, I just do.
I have noticed during this election year in 2018, that there are no political yard signs for Republican's.
All i see are yard signs for only Democrats in the Tampa Bay area.
What's going on with this?
We see almost no lawn signs anywhere anymore. What we do see is for local races. It has nothing to do with Tampa. We see very few bumper stickers as well. Those days, like many things seems to have disappeared.
I am on the other side of the bay........... very few signs either way. I truly believe most people are afraid of vandalism or outright confrontation in the political current climate.
The only time I ever see them now in any number is during the primaries, and only when there are more than 2 contenders for a seat.
Times are changing. A yard sign won't work for a person who lives in an apartment, and voters get their info from other sources these days than a yard sign. I still see a few, but not very many, and this town was always covered with them in the 20th century.
Probably cause the liberals are vandalising other people's signs... I see Republican signs everywhere...
How is it that you're seeing those Republican signs - if "the liberals" are vandalizing them??
Your claim is illogical and makes little sense.
Lots of signs for both sides here in Central Kentucky, with a decided majority of Democratic signs in my neighborhood and nearby areas. I think Democratic candidate for Andy Barr's 6th District House seat Amy McGrath will win my county easily.

The front yards of the apartments here in Central Kentucky are covered with signs for many different candidates. Local customs must vary.
This year's crop of political signs is the largest I can remember - certainly more than in 2016 and most that are partisan (many are not - judges' races) seem to be Democratic.
