How did the left delegitimize men while running two males for the highest profile races in Florida? Gillum actually beat a woman in the primary.

Aside from only actual votes mattering- there are a couple things to consider. Higher turnout in Presidential years has been much more favorable to Dems in Florida than mid terms. Demographics among younger voters will swing more heavily Dem- which might be necessary to counter the steady stream of older voters moving to the state. The state just passed a law returning voting rights to many felons- we do not know how these folks will vote. Broward county might finally have a competent election chief for the first time in 20 years- Florida Presidential in 2000 and Senate in 2018 were both affected by poor ballot design; if 2020 is yet another squeaker having an easy to follow listing fro that top race might help the Dems gain 10-20k of missed or accidental votes.

And the granddaddy of all 2020 considerations for Democrats- their candidate will not be as unpopular as Hillary Clinton. This should ensure at least holding on to their own base and not having folks who show up just to vote against them.

And in 2020, Dems will have already thrown everything and the kitchen sink against Trump, so they will have almost nothing else to say

No one should put any faith in polls after the 2016 debacle but we that lean to the Right should be concerned when it comes to the close race in Florida and Texas. These 2 states used to be a majority Red but now they are turning Blue and it is possible that by 2020 that they could be lost.

I heard on the radio yesterday that in Texas 3 out of 4 hispanic people are under the age of 18 and in the next 5-10 years they will be of voting age and the state will turn a forever Blue. Ann Coultier said this. I'm not a fan of hers and her alarmist rants but in this case what she said is possible.

Of course the Dems have a chance in 2020. It all depends on who they put up against Trump.

What will make 2020 tough for Trump in Florida are the Dems having illegals and dead people vote for their candidate.

How can they do this if Florida has a vote ID law? Florida only allows specific photo IDs and the IDs must have signature. Signature signed in person at the polling site is validated against the signature on the ID card. Photo of the ID is matched against the person that is voting.

Then, why are there problems in Florida every election?

There really wasn't a problem. State law mandated the recounts.

Attorneys and sycophants for both parties litigated and vigilated to make sure that the laws were enforced.

Amid the hoopla, they each accused each other of vile acts. That is nothing new.

Meanwhile the rule of law took its course and we have the outcome.

They exclude Black men and "nu males". The Democrat party is toast if even a small number of the African American community stop listening to the "you are a victim" message.

Hillary isn't our president. We have a president who insults everyone daily. Is that ok with you.
