Thank you for posting that.

Wow, I am a democrat who is going to vote for a republican this time around.

The state of the nation was in decent shape until the democrats took control of congress. All you have to do is look up the important economic factors to see when things went to h--- and it all comes down to the congress not doing what I and we elected them to do.

I wont allow the democrats another chance and will be registering to vote for McCain and for any Rep who runs in my state.

The democrats are at fault for many things wrong in this country mainly because they are power hungry people who get nothing done but going after Bush which is "not" what I elected them to do.

Personally, many and I mean many of my dem friends are going to vote for McCain.

That is not true. Republicans are more likely to vote on principles, not on party labels.

Who are representing Tom Delay, Bob Ney, and Mark Foley's districts now? Yes, democrats despite all distrcits are solid pro-bush. Ted Stevens might lose his senate seat this year in ALASKA despite he is the ranking member of Appropriate commitee and AK is 65+% pro-bush.

Heck, ND/SD/NE/MT voted for Bush in 04 with 60+% votes and six of eight senators are democrats. It is like electing RicK Santorum from VT.

On the other hand, Can you find any conserative senator in any slightly blue state? NJ dems have done far worse things than Foley/Ney/Delay and NJ voters keep voting democratic anyway. Why? AA and union are voting democratic no matter what.

Republicans are funny since they will vote for McCain because he wants to keep the tax cuts permanent. Well guess what those tax cuts will expire even if McCain is elected because at this point it looks likely that both houses of Congress will become even more Democratic in '08.
McCain says he doesn't know much about the economy and neither does/did Bush.

This is laughable and utterly ridiculous.

Talk about lipstick on a pig.

? The best years we've had since since the early 90s has been with a republican congress. . . seems to have more of an impact that dem or rep potus. Just look how fast and far things have fallen in just the short time Pelosi and co. took over.

And am I the only one that's noticed how low a profile they're now keeping. It as if they're hiding in a bunker. No more endless Pelosi and Reid stories. . . .

Neither do obama and Clinton. "Change" and "Hope" are not exactly solid economic policies.

Thank goodness we have the Corzine's and Florio's that come along and set the democratic party back for a bit. Problem is NJ is so socially liberal that they can't help themselves elect these guys and destroy the state's economy.

Care to explain your thinking or do you not have a basis for this statement other that that is what you think?
