The rest are sell outs, the Media is only attacking Bernie because he is the only one with actual policy positions he would push for once elected.

It's over, everyone else go home.

As the great Voltaire said, the people you are not allowed to criticize are the ones oppressing you:

He has to in order to be accepted on the MSM, but his true feelings are clear..

He does not have the same establishment background record as Kamala, Warren, Biden, and the rest. That is why they fear him.

Sanders voted yes on Paul's audit bill. What were you expecting? A John Brown type of raid?

It's one reason the corporate media dislikes him.

I haven’t heard the term “sell out” used in person since my punk rock days. If Bernie doesn’t run, he’ll endorse one of his progressive protégées like Tulsi.

It appears that most of the pressure is coming from opinion writers, which is not a problem I would agree that the news media generally should not be trying to pressure.

My guess is that many on the left foresee a repeat of McGovern in 1972 if Bernie is the nominee. And further that he could well become the nominee, given the crowded D field, and Bernie's strong performance in 2016.

OP quick question for you, since you are knowledgeable. Bernie is a self-described 'socialist,' although I've seen some say that he is really more of a social democrat (a la Scandinavia). The Danish PM once chided Bernie for referring to Denmark as socialist, which the PM said it is definitely not. Do you consider Bernie to be a real socialist? And if not, why do you think he uses that term?

His policies are of a social democrat, but deep down he is a socialist.

This isn't me theorizing, this is from his past affiliations and work (he is very old of course) with socialist groups.

He decided around the time he became Mayor to promote social democratic policies to make himself a viable politician, but in terms of end goal he still sees himself as a socialist.

That is why he plays fast and loose with the two terms.

Bernie can run again.

He simply can't run as a Democrat. The DNC won't tolerate it.
