Both of those programs are paid for with direct taxes. The only way you reduce federal debt with them is to reduce payouts and use the money to pay down the debt.

now yes some have suggested to privatize it (invest it)...not sure how I feel about that because of the additional risk

if you notice in my list, I did NOT mention SS
My problem with raising the SS age is that there is widespread age discrimination in the workforce. Unless there is some type of guaranteed jobs program for older workers SS should not be tampered with.

Schultz is white, old and male.

That's all it takes for people that are super concerned about race, age and gender discrimination in this country....to attack him.

I think that most people would be fine having a “white old male” as president again, as long as they have liberal ideas and can beat Trump.

Schultz has spent FAR more time bashing Democrats than he has Trump. All part of his strategy that you mention.

Because one billionaire businessman failure is not enough.

I'm pretty sure Schultz is a Russian agent. Think about all the Starbucks he has in Russian. In exchange, he's helping Putin keep Trump in office. I hope it's not too late for Mueller to investigate.

LOL, Maybe because there's a lot more to "bash". He's simply being honest about it.
