Bernie Sanders raises $6 million in first 24 hours

Last month, California's Sen. Kamala Harris raised roughly $1.5 million in the first 24 hours from all 50 states, which raised eyebrows at the time.

I think the rich elite are getting scared that the working class of this country is waking up and fighting back. Expect an onslaught of attacks against him from their mouthpieces now.

Sanders is what alienated establishment-weary Americans were really looking for when they voted for Trump. Sanders might actually work in their interests if elected.

I have to say it for Sanders.

He sure knows how to collect the money from the easily influenced simply by announcing that he's running against the other Democrats.

The DNC is never going to let him get close to that nomination, IMO.

He sold out to Hillary Clinton and in doing so, went back on everything he said about it. i.e. Standard hypocritical politician.

He was my candidate in '16. He did not sell out. He got beat. Badly. Democrats (of which I am not one so I did not ever vote for him) wanted Clinton. They got her. He did the right thing and supported the better candidate. It's a new cycle now and we will see where it all goes. His popularity is somewhat surprising to me. I thought he was dead politically, but I would welcome his resurrection. He is the only genuine "man of the people" in either party's offerings so far.

I dont think it would be a nightmare if we do like Bernie proposes and expanded Medicare and boosted Social Security, so the disabled, the elderly, the poor and the sick can live with some more dignity in this nation.

The working class has been stiffed for decades by the Wall Street ruling class in this country and I think more and more members of the working class no longer want to be obedient and submissive when facing the onslaught from the Wall Street class, but are willing to fight, like we saw during Franklin D Roosevelt.

Let's see......
  • Bernie holds a campaign where he calls out Clinton as being controlled by the global elite. Calls her out for all the big corporate money. Calls her for the war mongering. Calls her out on trade.
  • DNC rigs primary so only Hillary can win.
  • DNC Super Delegates decide nomination. Go with Hillary.
  • Hillary pays off Bernie's campaign debt.
  • Bernie endorses Hillary's entire platform. The one he railed against for a year.
Looks like "sell out" to me.

(he should have stood by his ground if those things actually meant anything to him)
