Comparing Hillary Clinton's experience, knowledge and qualification to the Democratic candidates (except Biden), Hillary trumps all of them and that includes Stacey Adams!
True. I don't think people voted based on qualifications last time (obviously). It was a gut level, visceral thing w/ Trump. People were tired of the tried and true politician types. I can emphasize w/ their feeling, of being disenfranchised, forgotten, thrown out into the wind by both parties, which democrats should have better understood. Trump's lack of qualifications are glaringly obvious though. I would have rather had the one w/ all of that even though she had obvious shortcomings, history and faults than what we have now.
Perhaps Dems are more for the patriarchy than they admit. For all their talk about being the party for women they want a man in charge. That's why they aren't warming up to their female candidates.

No one has voted yet. Let's see where we stand next January. The last poll I saw had Biden then Bernie (who are pretty much the two highest name ID candidates) followed by Harris, Beto and Warren. So 2 of the top 5 and 2 of 3 newer options is pretty decent. And even if they were a 99% female party there would be times when a man is the best option- similar a woman being named head of a 60-70% male department because she was the best candidate.
At the present moment the most powerful person in the Democratic party is in fact a woman. Her name is Nancy Pelosi.

Oh, that's funny. I thought the most powerful woman in the Democrat party was AOC.
Hillary is/was certainly a political force but oh those scandals and crooked ways.. We really dodged a bullet when she lost.
I'm ready for a woman to be President but she has to have the qualifications and experience, in other words, be the best person for the job. No one should feel guilty and vote for someone just because they are a woman. We already did that when we voted partially out of guilt for the first black man...
Hillary is not gonna run. Her time is over. Just like Warren.
If Hillary ran again, she would win the Democratic nomination. She defeated Biden and Sanders with ease! Hillary also received more VOTES than Biden, Obama and Sanders in Democratic primaries. Hillary Clinton also received more VOTES than Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential election, too bad Putin tipped the scales for Donald Trump!
In general I prefer Governors for President. President is an executive job. Being in Congress is important but being in the minority makes it mostly talk and mostly ineffective talk. O'Rourke has about the least accomplishments in Congress as you can get. I checked what bills he was prime sponsor of that became law and all I found was the naming of a couple of courthouses.
When either party nominates a female Governor I'd say the chances are in favor of her election... if she did a reasonable / good job.
