I thought Americans lost their minds in 2016, when they elected a completely unqualified person as President. Now we're comparing him to another completely unqualified person, so I guess I'm not that surprised.

Just remember it's all about the Electoral College. For example, the poll shows Kamala Harris with a lead of 49 to 45%, which is very similar to Hillary's lead in the popular vote in 2016. If nominated she would suffer the same fate in the EC as Hillary. I will be more impressed with O'Rourke if polls show he can beat Trump in the swing states.

Here is a more important poll: https://emersonpolling.reportablenew...neral-election

Trump won Pennsylvania in 2016. The poll shows both Biden and Sanders beating him handily there.

Rasmussen shows 50% approval/47% disapproval.
His approval on the economy is at 52%, when all polls are considered.

Rasmussen measures approval by talking to likely voters, thus is the only poll that counts. About 50% of adults vote, on average,

I think that by the time the 2020 election rolls around the real truth behind Democratic witch hunt will be out there and a lot of left wingers will be paraded across your TV screen in handcuffs, headed for some prison time.

The left wants transparency, well let's have it. Let's see the truth about the spying, the FISA warrants, the collusion with the Ukraine, the treason to take down a sitting president.... all of it. They aren't going to like it and will howl like banshees when the shoe is on the other foot.

Americans are coming to their senses.

They understand that tRump is riding the Obama recovery from the Dubya/GOP Great Recession and that having an orange clown in the WH who spends his entire day deflecting from his criminality isn't economic leadership.

Besides...

Beto's already beaten tRump once in a head to head contest.

Oh I thought you were talking about the unqualified guy in 2008 who votes "present" when he feels like showing up

You're spelling your president's name wrong.

it's President Trump.

The first letter of his last name is capitalized. He's your president so you should probably remember that.

They lost their minds in 2016, around the first Tuesday of November. Stick to Real Clear Politics for the polls, they average the results.

You must have been overseas, or somewhere else, during the 2008 ish dark days when our economy was hitting millions of Americans. People were losing homes, banks were in trouble, businesses were closing daily, and jobs were very hard to come by.

Obama made tough decisions, sometimes unpopular decisions, and we finally turned the corner. Trump came in on his coat tails and for you to say "Trump turned the economy around" shows you will not accept the truth. If you are working today, and if you still have your home, you can thank Barack Obama.
