bush, the dems and bernanke are now talking about giving out FREE $$ to the "poor" and "middle class". if they skip me this time, i'm more inclined to vote for the party that at least "tried" to include me in this refund. as a single taxpayer, i pay more than my fair share of taxes, only to see them used to pay for families, who usually pay no taxes and get all of the breaks. will the rebate affect your voting choice?

Nah, I'm more interested in overall tax policy, not a rebate.

Yeah... I won't vote for someone who foolishly will redistribute money instead of paying down the debt which is causing the inflation in the first place.

Sounds like one huge ponzi scheme... and they want me to be the one left holding the bag. And make no mistake, it's not FREE like you claim.

Good for you.

(Just send me your rebate, okay? Then you won't have to think about it.)

My question is where are they going to get the $150 billion they say this program will cost?

By printing more money of course, which drives down our currency which hurts the poor and middle class way more than the rich. See what I mean about a big ponzi scheme?

Duh... they print it... and make the dollar go down again... haven't you been listening to Ron Paul in the debates.. when we need money, we print it and pay China a big fat interest for "borrowing" their money to give to you... what happened to all the money that you gave to the government in taxes... good question, perhaps one of the candidates can give an honest answer... 250 is not going to do anything except put us in more debt, devalue the dollar, and make you "feel good" about the economy since they gave you $250... its really just a diversion tactic so people don't focus on the economy while the government tries to fix it... and how do they fix it? This may be a stunner... less regulation on businesses to improve a free market (wasn't that a libertarian ideal?)... what else lower interest rates (I hope you not saving bonds or anything like that)... what else? OMG, they are going to cut business taxes (wow, another Libertarian ideal)... who are we voting for to improve the government... non-libertarians... its so great that we use libertarian ideals when we get in a financial mess from a socialist government... very interesting and yet we want more socialist care...
