Obama has won all the states that vote heavily Republican on Election Day. He has won 15 states that he will certainly won't be able to win against McCain: Idaho or Utah, to name two of them.
He has lost all the Democratic strongholds: MA, NJ, CA, NY, and PA yersterday.
He is always the winner when caucuses are held; remember, no caucuses in November.
I think this is a pretty good summary of the argument Hillary would use in support of the Super Delegates throwing votes her way instead of Obama's.
[Mod edited for content]How do you go about assuming that all the Republican states will vote republican no matter what but somehow there's a question mark on Democratic states! 2. Who in here believes that the republicans are 100% satisfied with their nominee and that there won't be any crossovers?

Reason: No reason to be rude or start a flame war
Some of the bloggers in here are so stupid. They do not have t be 100% satisfied because McCain will be running against two FAR left candidates that no republican in their mind would vote for.

Why do you assume that people will vote with certainty according to their party affiliation, and if they don't, they are crazy?
There are many republicans out there (like myself), who are not happy with the state of our party as it stands right now. Thus, we may be looking at ALL of our options come November.

Getting a little carried away there in labeling your fellow posters...
The South and West go heavily Republican, if you think that Texas or Alabama or either Carolina or Kentucky or Georgia or Wyoming or Montana are going to support Obama over McCain, I think that voter registration would indicate otherwise.

Yeah, right. So you'll throw out all of your values and vote for someone who wants to outlaw guns and force you into socialist programs.
Right.
Maybe YOU, but I guarantee you that 99% of the other Republicans don't feel that way.

Who said I was voting dem? I said ALL options meaning further right or further left. Not everyone is a line-by-line party voter...some people actually look at the issues. You get my drift? Probably not as it has become obvious...
Believe me, there are plenty of middle of the road republicans that have been won over by the BHO rhetoric machine and won't vote for the pseudo-righty McCain...
Thank You. The democratic nominees are so left that is you really have views that line up with republican it would make no sense to vote that way.
Are they? You're agreeing with UB50? Since UB50 basically stated:
Quote:
I've always voted for the Democrat for President -- but I won't this year if it isn't Hillary!! I'll vote for McCain since McCain is a moderate Republican.
HRC can't be too far to the left if, let's generalize since you guys are good at it, a hardcore voter of democratic nominees is willing to "throw away his values" and vote republican...

McCain is a MODERATE the other two are flaming liberals Clinton being barely more moderate than Obama.
