This afternoon, Barack Obama said, "... Wright I saw yesterday was not Wright I met 20 years ago." "Nothing Wright said yesterday was constructive."
"What Wright said was a show of disrespect to me."

I gotta say, Obama truely seems put out by Wright's comments. Could he finally see how much damage this relationship has done and continues to do to him?

No link yet, it's still ongoing.

So I have to wonder, since granny was a "typical white person" to Obama, I wonder if Rev. Wright is a "typical black person"?

Obama says Wright was disrespectful to him? What about Wrights hateful disrespect to whites????

Wright isn't going away.....he'll definitely be around in the minds of MANY at general election time!

Obama called Rev Wright's comments "rediculous". I think If Obama continues to strongly seperate himself from Rev Wright, he'll be fine.

It's important for Obama to hit this head on now. Maybe last for a day or two news cycle and then move on. Don't address him or his comments anymore, unless it's a personal attack. I wouldn't be surprised if Wright was on Hillbilly's payroll.

On MSNBC right now a reporter, who was at the press conference, said, "he has never seen Obama this angry or this upset"

He probably should be, you've got Rev. Wright going on a publicity tour for his book right before some crucial primaries. Wright must have known it would hurt Obama, what was the Rev. thinking?

No he won't. Now he'll lose voters who see him as a "sell-out"
