I believe the reference is to a story in the NY Post that claimed Sharpton was upset with Obama over his reaction to the cops getting off in NY. Sharpton though released a statement claiming the Post story is false:

Quote:
The story, which appeared in Tuesday’s New York Post, is an “outright falsehood,” said Charlie King, acting national director of Sharpton’s National Action Network.
“Everything stated in the New York Post regarding yesterday’s conversation between Senator Obama and Reverend Sharpton is false, and is either a fabrication of the Post journalists who wrote the story or the supposed unnamed source for the story. In my view, there is a big difference between tabloid journalism and shoddy journalism. This story is clearly the latter and is unacceptable,”

You really don't read for comprehension, do you?

Follow along now...I was responding to the poster who said Wright might have made these comments just prior/just after retirement. Capeche?

The comment regarding 9/11 was made.....subsequent to the attacks.

Where do you get this garbage? "ALL other rednecks"?? Are you talking about Robertson? He's "ALL", right?

The point, if you can comprehend one last time is this; Kev was thinking the Rev was just venting on some issues around retirement time. Follow, so far?

I said, nooooooo, these comments were made wayyyyy before his retirement. Still along?

Read Kev 4th,4th post. Then mine. Then yours to see where you went wrong.
