Gee, you can't prove he is telling the truth. Does that mean I am forced to believe everything he says is a lie? I am a bit more open minded than that. I choose to listen to the statement and use a bit of common sense to determine the likelyhood of truth or fabrication.

I am glad you put that second line in your post. I was getting really afraid that millions of people were too stupid to actually vote for the candidate they intended to when they entered the booth. I am really glad you have confirmed that the voters are actually voting for those they intended to.

Lastly, I believe that if a statistically larger number of voters have decided to vote for someone else than those who are undecided, he will still loose. Only if there are more undecided than those who have decided for, AND they decide to vote for him will he win.......but wait, they will have decided by then and no longer be undecided How exactly does you logic work? It has eluded me yet again. I am very sorry, I have not attended enough Obama speeches yet and not up to your level of discourse.

You are trying to compare Obama/Wright to McCain/Hagee. It is a false comparison.

Candidates accept thousands of endorsements during their campaigns. That does not mean they agree with EVERY statement EVERY endorser has ever made. MCCain had never even met Hagee until this year and has never attended Hagee’s church. The MOST it says is that in McCains POLITICAL life he has associated with this person. There is NO reason to even think that Hagee has had ANY influence on McCains values or beliefs.

Obama did not just associate with Wright on a political basis. He associated with him on a PERSONAL and SPIRITUAL BASIS for TWENTY YEARS. He spent 20 years in the reverends church. He was married by the man. His two children on two separate occasions were baptized by Wright. He sought him out for spiritual advise. He said the man influenced his life. He wrote a book titled after one of Wrights sermons.

There is a HUGE difference between accepting one of thousands of political endorsements from a person who makes crazy statements, and having a man who makes crazy statements as a friend , SPIRITUAL MENTOR and advisor.

If you feel that someone rubbing elbows a few times in the game of politics with a Crazy man is bad judgement, then having the same sort of person as your friend, Spiritual Advisor, and mentor for TWENTY YEARS is outright proof of INSANITY.

As far as I can tell your not telling the truth.

McCain did NOT call Parsley "HIS SPIRITUAL ADVISER" like Obama did. In fact as far as I can find he never said “Advisor” he simply praised Parsley "SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP" AFTER saying he did not agree with everything Parsley said. You know the same way many people refer to the Pope, The Dali Lama, The Ayatollah, and Pat Robertson, as "Spiritual Leaders", even if we don't agree with everything they say. OOOHHHHH how dare he say Parsley with thousands of followers and a Mega church is a “Spiritual Leader.”

Lets compare. Again

Area they know each other.
McCain. Knows Parsley in the political arena.
Obama: Associates with Wright on a regular basis both politically, spiritually and as a mentor.

Length of Time they have had a close association.
McCain 0 Hours. McCain has never had what most people would call a CLOSE association with Parsley.
Obama: 20 Years. Wright is probably one of the top 10 Closest people to Obama at various points in his life.

Hours Spent with The "Crazy person".
McCain: No evidence he spent more then a dozen or so hours around Parsley.
Obama: Thousands of Hours spent listening and being GUIDED by the words of Wright.

See the difference.

Here's McCains words from the event. NOTICE TWICE, at the beginning, AND the end, he says he does NOT support or endorse or agree with everything Pastor Hagee believes!

"When he endorses me, it does not mean that I embrace everything that he stands for and believes in. And I am very proud of Pastor John Hagee’s spiritual leadership to thousands of people. I am proud of his commitment to the independence and freedom of the state of Israel. That does not mean I support or endorse or agree with some of the things that Pastor John Hagee may have said nor positions that he may have taken on other issues."

Sounds like a real swell guy. Another loony RW religious leader that McCain has cozied up to.

They've been calling Obama out since day one. Not too sure if he's the Teflon Don, but he'll be okay when he gets the nominee and things (hopefully) settle down.

I agree.

Never anything of value and almost always an attack to counter the point of the thread.

Obama is going down with or without Wright, Wright was just pudding on the cake.

Why is it you Obama fan club members have to revert to attacking McCain with nonsense and made up lies?

At least we saw your mans mentor and spiritual father do things that were beyond racist, they are plain hateful and anti American.

Show us proof of the crap you all post about Hagee and the others, not just lines, but proof that McCain spent 20 years with them and called them mentors and guides like Obama.

See, Obama stabbed Wright in the back and Wright is now stabbing Obama back for it. Obama is going down quick on his own, Wright is just a small piece of the tons of things that are wrong about Obama.

Will the Obama clan ever get over it or will they attack until the last member of the broken down club is still standing?

It is just a problem in Chicago. If Barrack Obama had been from most other places, he would not have this problem.

He chose the former. Because he is an unknown quantity, he doesn't have the recognition and familiarity to weather things like Rev. Wright or, at least, to prove himself worthy in the balance. People simply don't know enough about him. Plus, there were reports about discussions from more than a year ago in which he identified affiliation with Rev. Wright would probably be problematic. Since he chose to run on "judgment," nothing about the Wright affiliation or its potential for problems shows good judgment. And since he chose to run so soon after going to Washington, he doesn't have enough of a record and reputation to effectively counter these questions.
The thing is that his manager David Axlerod is smarter than this. Axlerod knows that every spec of dirt, no matter where it is, is going to come out and I am sure he vetted this issue before all this happened. I think they thought that it maybe blow up early and go away quickly- and it probably would have if Wright would have cooperated and shut up. But that did not happen with the press club and speaking tour. That is going to ensure Wright stays in the news for a long time. He is going to suck news coverage from Obama and his message.
