None of them. The current crisis is caused by multiple issues. Some fall under monetary policy and that is the Fed. They are suppose to be non political and the next president needs to keep it that way. That leaves fiscal policy and congress has shown no ability to do anything there. If you watch the congressional hearings when Bernanke is testifying they are begging him to tell them what he thinks they should do and he correctly declines. None of the three is enough of a economic wizard to be able to blaze a path based on their skills.

McCain is equally adamant on depleting the Treasury with more wars and expanded FHA programs along with taking away highway funding to save you a few sheckles on gas. Neo-con Republicans usually don't like combining their insatiabe desire to spend along with raising taxes. "Luckily" for us, there is an alternative to higher taxes.

Oh yeah, it can happen here.

If Hillary gets elected, I believe the Republicans will take over the House and Senate in two years -- then we will be back to good times again. Just don't vote for another Republican president eight years from now.

Seriously, after watching Hillary on O'Reilly (on FOX), I think Hillary thrives under pressure. If she becomes President and the pressure is on, I think she'll be a really great President.

I think Hillary Clinton will do the better job
she has several good ideas and she is determined to solve problems.
She is focused and she does not back down.
Obama has shown over and over his judgement if flawed
what kind of deal did he make with Rezco?
To quote him: "BONEHEAD"
He is the most liberal senator in Washington, there is a clue,
also who wants someone that is backed by Hollywood
good grief.

That is the frustrating thing in these discussions. If you believe that Obama will be a better choice than the others, let's hear a reasoned explanation of why.

For those who would like to contemplate what would occur if Obama's economic proposals were adapted, just go to his website and read about all of the "investments" (code:tax increase) that he plans to make. Make a case for why the economy will be better off with increased capital gains taxes. Make a case for why a "obscene profit tax" will be better and just how it will work.

Crunch the numbers on his health care proposal and see what that does to the economy.

Please at least try to explain your position with something better than "Bush can screw up a .....".

Just present the facts so everyone can make an informed decision - unless you prefer a decision made on emotion.

There have been proposals that say just that - do not give Americans the facts. Let's keep it on a touchy feelie basis.
